Top Ten Tuesday: 10 Signs You're A Book Lover

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and The Bookish and currently hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

Top Ten Tuesday: 10 Signs You're A Book Lover

This week's TTT is all about the ways people can tell you're a book lover...

1. You Take A Book With You Everywhere. (In a book sleeve to protect it from harm in the outside world of course)

2. Your Favorite Day of the Week is Tuesday because it means new books are coming out.

3. You keep track of your reading stats the way other people track sports stats.

4. You've used the phrase "the book was better" in response to an adaptation at least once.

5. You own multiple editions of the same book because you have to collect all of the special editions.

6. You've spent more on books in the past year than you have on clothes.

7. You are passionate about your favorite 'ship even if it doesn't sail and no one will ever change your mind. (Alina + The Darkling forever)

8. You own at least one piece of Harry Potter merch.

9. Your instagram feed is filled with shelfies instead of selfies.

10. Your wall is covered in
fan art of your favorite characters.

What shows people that you're a book lover?

  3. I love that you added the book sleeve in #1. I always thought they were kinda weird, but then I got my first one, and I absolutely love it! I will for sure always sail the SS Greater Good (Grindelwald + Dumbledore), and it is a ship that I am more than willing to go down with, okay? xD Great list!

    Here's my TTT post.

  4. Great list, and super agree on #3. I can't understand sports stats to save my life, but will I spend HOURS compiling end-of-year reading stats and/or just play around sorting my Goodreads shelves in every way possible to see what patterns emerge? Heck yes.
