Top Ten Tuesday: 10 Animals from Books

This week’s TTT is all about animals found in books. They can be real, mythical, main characters, sidekicks, companions/pets, shifters, etc. 

 

1. Tag (Naomi's dog) from The Obsession by Nora Roberts

I've never forgotten the "pants of humiliation" that go with the "cone of shame" 😆

2. Tea'a Deava from The Bone Witch Trilogy by Rin Chupeco

I know these were technically monsters Tea was supposed to have made her own, but I really liked her relationship with them throughout the books. 

3. Diable (the cat) from RoseBlood by A.G. Howard

 

 

4. Abraxos (Manon's Wyvern) from the Throne of Glass Series by Sarah J. Maas

I definitely have a soft spot for Manon's flower-sniffing/eating Wyvern 

5. Clayton Danvers (Werewolf) from the Women of the Otherworld Series by Kelley Armstrong

Clay is one of my favorite book boyfriends (although I watched and loved the show first). 

6. The Tree-Climbing Houdini Goats in Texas Gothic by Rosemary Clement-Moore

Because who couldn't love goats that could escape their pen by climbing trees in order to torment the dogs? 😆 

7. Syrinx (Bryce's Chimera) from House of Blood and Earth by Sarah J. Maas

8. Easton (Werewolf) from Midnight Mate by Heather Hildenbrand

I loved Easton and Cat in this book. 

9. The *Fox* in Among the Beasts & Briars by Ashley Poston

The fox was pretty much the only thing I liked about this book.

10. Gifford from My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows
