It's Monday! What Are You Reading? - 22 February 2021

#IMWAYR is a weekly meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at The Book Date.

Happy Monday Bookdragons! I hope your week is off to a good start! I had two job interviews this morning and I hope one of them works out.

What I Read Last Week:

The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager

Warning: I've been on a Riley Sager binge... and I'm loving every minute of it. I'm so glad I took the time to read this one... it might be my favorite of all of his so far.

The Bachelor by Carly Phillips
This was a reread for a blog tour. I read it originally probably 13 years ago and loved it. It was nice to revisit it with a new cover and updated technology.

Lock Every Door by Riley Sager

I actually was pretty apprehensive going into this book because I've heard mixed reviews but I ended up really loving it (and relating to Jules because, well, life right now). It's really kind of eerie thinking about the building and what it was being used for. *Shivers*

Tempting Heat by Sara Whitney
Seriously... this book was a perfect read for the recent weather (although we haven't had as much snow here in Wisconsin as further south thankfully). It's a cute, fast-read perfect for an afternoon where you're snowed in.

The Booty by Willa Nash

Okay, so I got this for being part of the author's newsletter (it's the pen name of Devney Perry) and it's been sitting on my kindle for a little bit. Following my need of a palate cleanser yesterday I devoured this one in a little over an hour. The festival in this book sounds kind of awesome... haha

Currently Reading:

Final Girls by Riley Sager

I tried reading this one last year but couldn't get into it, but it's the only Riley Sager currently published that I haven't read yet so I'm giving it another try... this time in audiobook. It's moving along better now so maybe I was in a slump last time.

Next Read

Moon Child by Gaby Triana

I just added this to my kindle (since it released last week) but I've been looking forward to it since I first heard about it a couple months ago. The author sold me when the blurb describes it as "The Craft meets The Shining."

What books have you gotten recently? What are you reading this week?
